Street Art
My homie Roc over at whoresneverlearn.com sent me this short film he did on street art. The film is based on the ATG crew – anyone from London will have seen their work - and is for the Current UK* season of programmes “dedicated to rebels, which is due to air later this month”.
Fresh stuff huh? London folk – you seen their work init? The penny dropped? Oh and those masks were genius haha!
Keep up the great work homie.

We spent our Wednesday evening over @ Juno Bar in Shoreditch, for the second edition of Writers Block…

Sometimes you need a break from raving, loud music, loud people and just need to chill in good company with great entertainment – and that’s exactly what you get at Writers Block! It’s an event that showcases contemporary literature, poetry/spoken word, short films and great live music. It’s a night where London gets their creativity on, but somehow manages to stay real and not…pretentious.
We attended the launch a couple months ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, but this one was even better! The Writers Block crew stepped their game up and came harder with some SERIOUS talent on the mic! The poets came through in a big way. Their words, their styles and attitudes totally different from each other, but perfectly compliment the evening. The two short films, again, very different from each other but were engaging, thought provoking and…[at times] funny. The musicians - a Sax player with a Hip Hop beat and a singer who backs Amy Winehouse on tour, did their thing and pleasured our ears brilliantly.
Oh, did we mention Juno Bar was PACKED to the rim? Literally, people standing in the door to get a glispe of this very special event. We’re hoping the next one will be sooner, rather than later because Writers Block comes as pleasant change to our usual London antics!
…Ya dig?
Head over to the official Writers Block Myspace and get the low down on the event, the future and all the performers/artists!

Short Film Sundays: “The Narrator”
We decided to start a lil’ short film section to PinBoard. We watch so many and there are so many great ones out there, that we thought we’d start sharing them. So, whenever we come across a cool, short flick, we’ll post it here and share the love!
This one is jokes.
Don’t we all have or need a Narrator in life??
