The good folks over at 3RRR-FM in Australia hit us up about the show they recently did with Sampha, who’s been on tour down under with masked wayfarer SBTRKT. He performed ‘If Only a Friend’ and ‘Indecision’ live in the studio, playing keys to accompany, as well as previewing a number of new tracks. Not only that, but he also drops a ‘Sampha remix’ of Zero 7′s ‘Swing’. The show also includes an interview with the smooth-voiced singer.

The entire show is filled with selections so you wouldn’t be wasting time listening all the way through. But if you want to skip straight to the Sampha section – scrub to the 53 minute mark.

Cult label Young Turks were invited to FBi Radio in Australia to take over their midday show, Monday to Friday (30.01.12 – 03.02.12). As you’d imagine their shows have been jam packed with exclusives thus far; Not only are they playing the dopest music but also featuring live sessions from Sampha, Glasser, Chairlift and a live down the phone session from Willis Earle Beale, plus interviews from the likes of Tanlines and Jack Penate. There’s tons more in there – including an exclusive new jam from Jamie XX – and loads more coming in the next week.

Last Tuesday evening, PinBoard Blog were invited back onto the biggest radio station in the UK again (first time since the ‘epic’ debut at the end of last year, lol).

The O.G. our mother Earth has come to know as Speeakz (don’t watch the government name bait-up) represented for the clan. Strictly modest scholar flex (I see you fam) as he sat down with the true airwave brahmin Nihal, beautiful spitter Mz Bratt (recently signed to Atlantic) and fellow Radio 1 badman DJ Dev to chew the fat over a selection of tracks (including new Jamie Woon ‘Lady Luck’).

A massive look for our sector of the music industry. Three years ago, we were just mere blogs and bloggers… now we’re ever effective and proven legitimate MUSIC OUTLETS. Really proud of our man and how far we’ve come. This one’s for all UK blogs, we rep for our class of music commentators and tastemakers.
