Freshly dropped over at her tumblr, last year’s buzzing R&B madame Jhene Aiko leaks this saccharine, exotic roller produced by Kevin Roosevelt and keeps the online breath baited.

Apparently it is forthcoming, but unfinished, so make certain you’ve picked up that Sailing Soul(s) whilst we’re anticipating follow-up mixtape Souled Out to arrive some time this Summer and new single ’3:16′ even sooner.

This that ratchet ‘ish…

You may recognise the distinctive Mach Five duo from their recent collaboration with poster child of alt hip hop, Danny Brown recently.

A.ware and Corey Davis have been throwing out their unique sound to the interweb since their first EP Stepchild back in 2008, which successfully gained a following in their hometown Atlanta and further.  Since then they have shared the stage with the likes of Pac Div, Micky factz, and Brittany Bosco. Taken from their Ratchet Shit Vol. 2 project, this comedic  stoner-hop anthem, talks girls, drugs and partying. You know the important stuff in life.

Check it out up top.

Cocaine 80s, the super group consisting of Common, No I.D, James Fauntleroy, Kevin Randolph and others have just released a new single titled ‘Queen To Be’ – and no, there’s no Akeem-related samples. The track is dope though, reminds me of Frank Ocean in some ways – a little more aggressive than his material, but in all – a good offering. Listen/download below.

Cocaine 80s dropped a fantastic EP entitled The Pursuit last summer – make sure you check that out if you haven’t already.

Remember when we posted this cool lo-fi, soul-waved track from Lemonade? Check the #soemoshswag video with showery cameos above.

Teairra Mari attempts to distract your life with this new video. ‘U Did That’ featuring 2 Chainz is the first single taken off Mari’s upcoming second album. Produced by Rico Love – the track is pretty decent, not entirely sure it’ll light up the charts (or blogosphere for that matter) though. We’ll see.

Only the second Death Grips video I have ever seen, I totally expected it to be as visceral and near vomit inducing as the first one ‘Guillotine’. However, despite expectations, ‘Hustle Bones’ isn’t quite so violating.

If ‘Guillotine’ was the California group trying to scare the shit out of us, then ‘Hustle Bones’ is the band attempting to woo us.  Coaxing us into their world by showing us scenes of  washing machines full of cash money, weed and pills.

“Oh come inside you say? There is more of this in there you say?” Only to find  frontman, Stefan Burnett on the other side spitting in your face (Say it. Don’t spray it dude) and spilling beer all over your trainers. Those pesky kids!

‘Hustle Bones’ is taken from the debut album Money Store. Out on Epic now.

From the cheeky Bristolian gentleman who brought you one of 2011′s byzantine floor-fillers. He’s recently “found time between jet-setting around the globe, becoming a voice for the people via my Radio One show…” and also lending a versatile touch to Jessie Ware’s chic material to start a label. Offering up this lemony basslined, 4/4 stonker, Bashmore returns to his acidic, funky and fat formula in time for some hard raving summer nights. Simple but not skeletal, it’s parts are each finely tuned for maximum impact.
