Now this right here, is an individual who I certainly can rate as one of my favourite emcees/producers in the UK.

You wanna know about punchlines, concepts and bangin’ beats underpinning all that dexterity? Few can touch Loud (bar all the cats in his close-knit East London recording stable, Skillit, K-Nite 13, Chris Mentalist, Pyro, Black The Ripper, Iron Braydz- outrageous bunch).

He’s achieved a great feat over the last month or so successfully pumping out four EPs consecutively to fanfare across domestic blogs. Talk about dedication; modern day e-hustling, shottin’ discs out the back out of the cyber trunk. Respect.

Available are all four EPs for free download with the artwork for the very latest above.

The features line-up is crazy too. Hit the jump to acquire them all.

I’m a bit late in posting this, apologies.

The good people over at We Plug Good Music have put together a rather dope compilation featuring 25 tracks spanning Soul, R&B and Hip Hop from up and coming UK/US/Nigerian artists.

Having previously heard a preview of the compilation, it’s great to finally see/hear the full project. You can listen and download the tape (for free) via their bandcamp player below. Think you’ll enjoy this…

If like me you are still working and need something to keep that mind ticking I have just the thing….A little promo mix to stream (sorry no download…) that Kode 9 has put together before his string of shows over in Asia. Some serious heavyweight pressure on this one (Eskimo never gets old!) Tracklist after the jump. …press play and get a working skank on!!!

Where my 80′s babies at? This one is so for you. Can’t lie, this is a little before my time (only a few years mind you) but thought it was pretty fresh and something you could have fun listening to. The Countdown is taken from “three sides of a couple 30-minute cassettes and mixed in early ’83, here are DJ’s Chris & Steve (aka Peanut Butter Wolf & Baron Zen) running down the top 50 jams of 1982″. The mix is in 3-parts and is available via Stones Throw’s Mixcloud, complete with track list and commercial interruptions.

We’re talking Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Prince, Jermaine Jackson, Indeep, The Gap Band, Marvin Gaye, Grand Master Flash, Earth Wind & Fire & more. Noice.

Up top is part 1, running down from #50-32), find parts 2 and 3 after the jump…
