Earlier in the week Bondax dropped their single ‘Baby I Got That’ which took us all the way back with its revivalist house vibes. Now they release it’s b-side titled ‘It’s You’ – a gorgeous two step bubbler which leaves me incapable of resisting an early afternoon skank – these guys keep coming with the goods.

‘Baby I Got That’ & ‘It’s You’ is out 26th August on Just Us/Relentless. Cop that.

Basically Hudmo & Lunice want you to get arrested for doing some stupid sh*t. That’s the only explanation I have for their creations. Individually they carve rotund ear-drum crushing productions but together they produce richter-scale abominations. On ‘Higher Ground’ they bring forth crispy claps, pitched up (and down) samples and a drop that’d have Godillza doing the bench press. Trill to the nth.

TNGHT’s EP is due out July 23rd.

P.S. Imagine if Hudson Mohawke produced for Missy Elliott. Imagine.

I dont know what to call this. I’m hearing House beats, Drum & Bass drones and a sexy vocal sample. It’s a bit much. I guess that’s just what happens when you put three producers of this calibre in one room – genre bending futurism. Need to be at the dance when this one drops.

‘Faint’ is out on Sunklo on July 17th

Tugging at those strings is this beautiful new record from Tom Krell a.k.a. How To Dress Well. Overlapping his falsetto aboard a voyaging instrumental, it feels as destitute as his past lo-fi offerings but reaches more for Active Child grandiosity.

The album Total Loss is released internationally on September 17 and if previous leak ‘Ocean Floor Everything‘ and now even more so ‘Cold Nites’ are anything to go by, it’s set to be Krell’s most realised work thus far.

‘Held’ is the gorgeous title track from Holy Other‘s forthcoming album which will be available on August 28th via the achingly cool Tri-Angle label; thee place that man like Clams Casino and Evian Christ call home. This piece of time stretched audio really displays the Mancunian’s ability to slow things right down and draw your attention to the smaller minutiae’s of sound that can otherwise go unnoticed.

Following the release of his single ‘Paralyzed’ last week, ANGO returns with his new mixtape Serpentine. The 10-track release further explores the singers exploration into warped (in parts Pop-tinged) R&B/2-Step and excitingly brings him together with fellow Canadian producer  Jacques Greene on a track called ‘True Blue’ - the result of which is quite amazing (stream below).

Alt-J’s debut album An Awesome Wave has quietly become one of this years most charming releases. The Leeds based band have meshed together a sound that stubbornly (but lovingly) defies simple categorisation. It’s dark and ethereal, it incorporates glimpses of Folk, it’s melodic but yet is quintessentially Electronic.

Even more interesting, their latest single ‘Fitzpleasure’ has been remixed by Odd Future’s off-shoot band The Internet and the results are pretty tasty. The L.A duo sprinkle their laid-back influence over the original vocals and bake up a nice chill-wave alternative.

An Awesome Wave is available now.

TNGHT have just leaked this humungous remix of Waka’s automobile-based fellatio anthem. It is most disruptive.

Hud-Mo and Lunice’s anxiously awaited EP arrives July 23rd. We are not responsible for any damage to your speakers or future arrests.

PMR signed producer Two Inch Punch serves up a full stream of his new EP Saturn: The Slow Jams ahead of it’s June 25th release. As the singles previously released (here & here) had suggested the extended player brims with intricately layered production armed with nose bleeding basslines and perfectly positioned electronic embellishments. TIP’s knack for building legitimate bedroom messy R&B slow jams while incorporating his more mechanical influences is something few get so right.

Pay particular attention to his next single ‘Digital Love Letters’ – good lord.

As we reported back in March, groundbreaking Electronic producer Flying Lotus has been readying the release of his forthcoming new album Until the Quiet Comes. He mentioned back then that it was almost complete and that it would “probably” be out in June – that obviously didn’t happen. It’s now been revealed that the LP will drop via Warp on October 2nd and will feature a new collaboration with Thom Yorke (the two last teamed up on FlyLo’s Cosmogramma). More information on the album is due out later this week – we’ll keep you updated.
