With the release of “What Is This Heart?” just around the corner, How To Dress Well has dropped yet another masterpiece in the form of ‘Face Again’. There’s almost a Hip Hop vibe to the song as Krell lays down his immaculate falsetto over echoey drums that’re lifted by a platter of  majestic synths and eerie electronics. Listen up!

Leeds quartet Adult Jazz return with their latest track ‘Spook’. Taken off their forthcoming debut album, Gist Is (August 4th) the song really shows off the band’s depth and knack for churning out gorgeous sounds. Yes it’s 10-minutes long, but sit with it – it’s worth it.

Following the video for his single ‘She Dried’, Jamie Isaac stirs up another heartfelt track titled ‘Mother’s Love Don’t Stretch’. The songs desolate memorandum is filled by Isaac’s stylised melody, a sunken piano and an undercurrent of ornate glitches & subtle drums. And although its clear he is an artist very much about carving his own path, parts of this brushes on the ground that sits somewhere between James Blake and King Krule.

Meavy Hetal

Introducing New Jersey starlet Blood Cultures, whose latest offering ‘Meavy Hetal’ serves up a dreamy slice of celestial pop. The songs toned down and chilled aesthetic is permeated by its shimmering instrumentation and her warm, floaty vocal. This is pretty cool…

Following the splendid ‘Word’s I Don’t Remember‘, How To Dress Well shares another gem from his forthcoming new album What is This Heart? out June 23. ‘Repeat Pleasure’ finds the perfect equity between hazy aerial soundscapes and heartfelt melody as it sees Tom Krell expressing that exquisitely tuned falsetto. This material feels a lot more refined this time around; it’s fuller and more colourful. Take a listen below, and check out the tracklist for What is This Heart? after the jump.

17 year-old Atlanta rapper Raury turned heads with his genre-bending debut ‘God’s Whisper’ a few weeks back. Citing the likes of Kid Cudi and Andre 3000 as his influences, Raury manages to blend the raw, rugged flow in his verses with the swooping indie atmospherics to perfection. The accompanying video sees the artist/songwriter/producer at a bonfire in his hometown neighbourhood; donning a nifty, wide-brimmed floppy hat. There’s a full-length long player on its way too, it’s called Indigo Child, watch this space.

After announcing the release of their debut album, So It Goes, RATKING team up with label-mate King Krule on this album cut called ‘So Sick Stories’. The track, along with the Eric Yue-directed visual, sees the boys in their element as they do their thing over a smoothed out, slightly jazzy beat, whilst roaming the streets of New York.

British producer Evian Christ has shared a stream of his latest EP ahead of its March 18 release on Tri-Angle. Featuring four new tracks, Joshua Leary’s mind still seems to be occupying the space it was in during his Yeezus experience. Truth is ‘I’m In It’ is child’s play compared to these grimacing rap beats. Built on industrial 808’s, icy snares and with enough aggro to warrant a few rounds on GTA – our guy is not fucking around.

Head over to his website for a full stream.
