One of the first things that strickes you about ‘Tobyjug’ is the way Abigail Wyles‘ voice sits serenely at the centre, cosseted by the lush chords assembled by Manchester based producer Doc Daneeka. Sung with a kind of reserved sincerity, her vocals provide just enough emotive drive to propel the song despite its languid, almost metronomic beat.

Abigail and Doc graced these pages earlier in the year when the pair teamed up on a track called ‘Halo‘, but shouts to the good homie who put us on to this new video. If you’re feeling ‘Tobyjug’ head over to their Badncamp and grab a copy.
