ML the south London based producer/songwriter who we featured here a couple of weeks back, returns with some more genre bending stuff set to feature on his Forthcoming EP As The Crow Flies

This time ‘Heartache’ makes use off kilter 2-step drums, weighty lows, filtered hymning and slight Alternative Rock trimmings to tell the all too familliar tale of love gone wrong. The multi-faceted voice continues on his mission to carve out his own niche in this morphing world of motherboard-fried Hip-Hop with breeched fringes, that we’ve seen artists like Ghostpoet or Shabazz Palaces for example prompt in the past. Taking a his own experimental cues ML turns it up a notch and would probably collab awesomely with another newcomer Petite Noir in fact; the way these artists verge on pan-African influenced indie-electronica feels fresh and exciting in it’s pursuit to stimulate the modern skull with sage spirit.

Keep an eye on his Soundcloud for more future releases.
