In the midst of what is according to Black Hippie Members and fans alike, the #TDEFamAppreciationWeek, member Jay Rock drops ‘YOLA’ which is apparently common slang for good old cocaine on the streets of L.A. The beat, which is produced by Dave Free and as always with a TDE mix down by Ali, is minimalist and menacing. With its hollow din of a kick and sharp snares set to rapid fire, they’re combined with rhymes painting a vision of an uncompromising dystopia where Jay Rock rules the roost and only he’s “Got that A1 YOLA!”.
