MP3: Funkineven & Fatima – Phone Line (Dauwd Edit)

The original edit’s video off the Phone Line EP from PB favourites Funkineven and Fatima, dropped on Eglo records this week. Here cometh the remix courtesy of Brighton based Dauwd who releases under the wonderful Pictures Music imprint. This stripped back refix drops the full vocals of the future-funk number and settles into an acid-house like roller. Complete with speaker bending bass, chopped and screwed vocal and synth pad stabs off the original, expect this to tear up a dance or two much like the former’s been.
