VIDEO: Bat For Lashes – Laura

It’s been a minute since we heard anything new from Natasha Khan, better known by her pop moniker Bat For Lashes. Since her 2009 sophomore efforts Khan has been busy readying her third release - The Haunted Man which is expected 15th October.
The lead single ‘Laura’ is a departure from the Electro-Pop we’ve come accustomed to from her but instead swings towards her other comfort - melodramatic ’Kate Bush’ Pop – a decision she pulls off well. Taking her doting listeners down the a subtle and minimal route with melodic assurance and hollow ivories – accompanied by an ambiguous video clip. Throughout it all though, I still can’t help and wonder if ‘Daniel’ is her ex, then who the hell is Laura?
The Haunted Man is out 15th October via Parlophone/EMI
