No, I know that’s not a picture of Misha B, but I may have to drop this in honour of upcoming producer Mnek who’s exceptionally twisted Pop production here steals the show. I couldn’t resist. Jumping between 90s House stabs and Bashment, this is the kind of Labrinth’esque deftness that’s gone on to create breakthroughs in the last couple of years. With remixer here as also producer of the original version, he’s given it an an edge the original lacked – and when Mnek’s time truly comes, he’s going to be doing very large things in British mainstream.
