Although the song itself could be tagged as ‘dated’ – something about Darkchild’s (Timbaland inspired) beat works on me – have a feeling it’s nostalgia more than anything. But one thing I can’t get over is the way Nelly Furtado sounds on it. Her nasal tone on this single has warped into overdrive – at times making listening a bit of a difficulty.
That said, peep the official video for ‘Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)’ up top. This is the first single taken off her new album The Spirit Indestructible.
