While in New York, King Krule linked up with Yours Truly to film a live rendition of ‘Portrait in Black and White’. Archie’s enormous voice never fails to amaze me, it’s impossible to fathom how such a young man can possess such a powerful and distinct instrument. Really love the Jazz influence coming through those drums also – might prefer this version to the original, which can be found on the King Krule EP – out now.
