London soul-stirrer Lianne La Havas’ has generated quite a bit of buzz for herself over the past 6 months or so. After releasing her Live in L.A EP back in October, she got to work on recording her debut album (hopefully due out later this year).
… But as we wait for that, a brand new remix of her song ‘Forget’ from L.A producer Shlohmo has arrived. His darker interpretation adds a new depth and dimension to Havas’ style. His influence corrupts the Folk-trademarks of the original and brings forth a more gusty constitution – making this real creative pairing.
Something very special about this lady and her voice. Looking forward to hearing more new material this year. ‘Forget’ is due out on Lost & Found in February but grab this remix for free below…
