The new record by 24 year old Southampton artist Gang Colours is here and it’s his most R&B spun-off cut yet; with dawn filtered vocals carrying a lovely tune over post-Blake twitches, warm chords with an undercurrent of pop sensibility and GC’s own variety of UK sound inspired chilltronica. This along with resident head Toasty’s select ‘On Compton Bay’ has us a tad fervent for the young risers upcoming debut LP on cult London label Brownswood. The Keychain Collection is out January 30th and may prove a beguiling audio flight.
