NEW Track: Amy Winehouse – ‘Our Day Will Come’

Following on from ‘Like Smoke‘ featuring Nas, we bring you ‘Our Day Will Come’ – the second track to come off Amy Winehouse’s upcoming posthumous album Lioness: Hidden Treasures (December 5th).
Once again, the song is beautifully riddled with 60′s Ska influences (I don’t think anyone does ‘this’ better or more authentically as Winehouse did) but it’s her voice and the power of the words she’s singing which will strike most people. Her vocal is sultry, insecure, dripping in pain but strong at the same time – tissues at the ready.
£1 of every album sold will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Amy always had ska influences in her music – her voice is flawless perfection. Phrasing and timing were instinctual. What a voice….
