EP: Good Job – “Fake Camera”

I’m all about new names coming through on the music circuit and these guys with the help of Russian label Hyperboloid Records have caught my attention. Spotted their project as I was floating through my Facebook and found their latest release, a three track EP.
Not finding that much information on Good Job, I just decided to press play and get into it. Hestitant to immediately and lazily throw the project in the ever ending dubstep category, I listened again. Really feeling ‘I Wasss’, which pleased my ear straight away when I heard the shuffling claps and beat skipping kick drums and realised the Garage influences at it’s purest form. With CCTV whirrings and electronic additions at the ready, echoed vocal loops and soulful designed synths it would be ignorant to simply chuck in the pile of dubstep.
