Woke up to the awesome news that one of my (our) favourite producers, Burial – is set to return, this Monday, with a brand new 12″ called ‘Street Halo’. Last week he released a collaborative project with Radiohead front man Thom Yorke and producer Four Tet (here & here), but this release marks his first solo output in over 4 years.

We’ve been waiting. If you haven’t yet discovered Burial’s catalogue, I implore y0u to acquire it immediately. Without any doubt, one of the most important and influential producers of our generation – this guys music spawned a movement which can still be heard today (James Blake, Jamie XX, Jamie Woon, Syncro, Appleblim, Pariah, Joy Orbinson to name a few).

The 12″ will feature title track ‘Street Halo’ as well as two others called ‘NYC’ and ‘Stolen Dog’.
