NEW Track: Raphael Saadiq – ‘Stone Rollin”

‘Stone Rollin’ is the title track off Raphael Saadiq’s forthcoming album (now due out in May/April). The 50′s inspired project has already spawned two fantastic singles, ‘Radio’ and the glorious ‘Good Man’ (one of the best songs and videos I’ve heard / seen this year).

This blue-grass, harmonica heavy mid-temp is the perfect hump-day antidote.

I really admire Saadiq’s musical discipline, his ability to authentically capture the sound and tone of an era is unparalleled. He did it brilliantly on his last album (The Way I See It) and he seems set to do it again on this one.
