Faith Evans and Keyshia Cole on one track? That’s a lot of vocal. Thankfully, I think what they’ve done here is good – not the best track I’ve ever heard, but I like hearing the differences between their voices and the way they bring them together. Faith wrote the book when it comes to R&B vocals, and Keyshia rocks her own gully style like no one else. I’m down with this. I like the Biggie reference at the end too.

I don’t even feel this majestic beast needs (excessive) commentary.

Quite simply, undoubtedly one of the tracks of the year.

Stunning, from divine production (it’s like Burial meets the Copacabana) right down to the clinching factor: Woon’s hypnotic voice and profound words. That man is gifted I tell you.

Shouts to dreamers and insomniacs worldwide (and PMOI where Amelia was makin’ up noise about this with a 1.30 snippet last month, haha).

Jesse Boykins III jumps on KanYe’s new single ‘Runaway’ and gets Smoke DZA on board too. Not really a fan of the original, so I don’t love this – but it’s decent and it’s cool to see Jesse’s interpretation.

…Biggup the 1 note piano KanYe is messing with. Ha.

Thank you Ne-Yo, thank you for keeping it R&B. This I can get my head into – sophisticated, smooth and melodic – that’s what I’m looking for from these R&B singers. You wouldn’t think that was asking a lot, but evidently – it is. This is off Ne-Yo’s confusing forthcoming album Libra Scale.
