Damn Kelly, get yours!

Miss Rowland looks overly hot in her new promo pictures – this is all of course leading up to her new solo album which remains untitled. The album was recently pushed back and will now be released ‘mid-Fall’ – no specific dates have been given at this point but apparently Kelly is still recording songs for it.

Alicia Keys & her manager of 14 years, Jeff Robinson have ‘mutually’ decided to part ways (professionally speaking at least). In a joint statement the pair said:

“Jeff Robinson, CEO of MBK Entertainment Inc., and 12-time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys have decided to change the structure of their business relationship. Robinson and Keys will continue to collaborate and produce future albums together through MBK/J Records while Alicia will now oversee all aspects of her own personal career…This decision will allow Alicia more control over all aspects of her career from singing and songwriting, to leading many business ventures and social causes”

I know a lot of people will be thinking this must have been a result of some crazy big bust up and maybe it was, but in the same breathe it could have very easily been an amicable decision. Many artists decide, after being in the business as long as Keys’ has, to do it for themselves – it’s very likely that this is the real reason.

Last night Bilal performed at Deviation in London – we all went to churrrrch. Wow.

Anways – the homie Mikael Colombu told me to expect this footage from Bilal’s Paris gig – and being a massive fan of his  (Colombu’s) work, I knew it would be dope. The track ‘Think It Over’ which he performed for us too is produced by 88 Keys and appears on his new album Airtight’s Revenge

Tunji just sent this over to me, he never fails. ‘Be Cool’ comes of Avriel Epps new EP, produced by Cook Classics, entitled Liberation – which we can expect late July/early August. Avriel’s soft, clear vocals are so warm – really love this. Course the Cook Classics bring it. Her voice reminds me of Solange – or is that just me? And no, I don’t mean that in any type of bad way, I love this lady.
