The Dream has been caught cheating on wife (and mother of his child) Christian Milian while getting personal with an unnamed woman. The rumour mill has been ablaze as of late about the status of their relationship, with certain sites claiming the two were having serious problems – guess these pictures say it all.

Christian Milian took to her twitter saying only: “whatever you think, BELIEVE IT!” – which I guess pretty much confirms everything we have thought and now do think. The R&B singer and producer have only been married for 10 months and already have a baby daughter.

Messed up.

Update: The Dream has issued the following statement via his rep: “Terius ‘The-Dream’ Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful..The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward.”

…Or lack thereof!

This was a dumb rumour anyways, but Jilly from Philly addresses how happy she is touring with Maxwell and that there is no beef whatsoever between the two.

Oh yea and erm, she says they’re planning on bringing the tour over to Europe. Powers that be – THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN!

A while ago Erykah Badu’s VIBE cover hit the nets, we posted it, but I never saw these images til’ just today. Not sure if I missed them or if they’re actually new-new. Either way, I never need much excuse to post anything on Queen Badu – so pic this incredible image of FatBellyBella uptop and even more after the jump…

Jesse Boykins creates something different when he blends Erykah Badu’s ‘Incense’ alongside lyrics from Lauryn Hill’s ‘Master of Iniquity’ – all brought together with his very own soulful vocals. This is strangely quite nice.

On September 21st we’ll be getting our teeth into the new collaborative project between John Legend and The Roots. I’m excited. The album will feature covers of ‘Wholy Holy’ by Marvin Gaye and Donny Hathaway’s ‘Little Ghetto Boy’. On speaking of the album and the choice of their reworking Legend said: “These songs sound so relevant now. On most of them, you wouldn’t change a lyric. ‘Wake Up Everybody’ has four verses – the first is a general statement, the second is about education, third is about health care and the fourth is about making a better environment. No editing needed.

1. “Compared to What”
2. “Hard Times”
3. “Little Ghetto Boy”
4. “Wake Up Everybody” feat. Common and Melanie Fiona
5. “Our Generation”
6. “Love the Way It Should Be”
7. “Hang On in There”
8. “I Can’t Write Left Handed”
9. “Wholy Holy”
10. “I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free”
11. “Shine”

The homie over at SoulUK said I needed to hear Def Chronic’s new EP, so I took his advice and downloaded it (it’s free) – he wasn’t lying. I did have to hear this and so do YOU!

Smooth soulful vocals, nice grooves…Pure summer vibes – this is that good stuff. Hailing from Sweden, an area of the world which is producing some incredible soul music as of late, singer Seinabo Sey & producer Frank Nobel have produced a dope 4 track EP (5 including a bonus remix track) which I have had on constant repeat over the weekend.

While listening, I did some research on the group and found myself over at one of my favourite blogs – moovmnt – and saw a post they did on Def Chronic a while ago. In it they mention that singer Seinabo is actually our very own Fatima’s half sister. The pair apparently met ‘at a very late stage in their lives’ – how crazy/dope is that? Two great singers making great music so closely related? Anyways, I digress. Very little else could be found on Def Chronic – not sure why, but they don’t seem to be ‘online’ much. They need to fix up on this really as more people need to hear their music.

‘Volume 1′ has everything a soul lover needs: It’s funky and edgy, intelligent and well crafted. It’s a ‘feel good’ EP, put this on on a summers day or at a chilled BBQ, in your headphones or while you’re clearning your house – you and your peoples will be feeling real nice. Definitely need to hear more from these guys soon.

Download their EP by clicking the image up top and preview their sound via the stream below…

Swizzy Beatz talks about working with Hip Hop’s new Princess, Nicky Minaj – she says it’s great working with her because ‘she’s a student’ which means she’s open to everything creatively. His says the new music they’ve produced is next level. Interesting, right? I’m actually excited to hear new music from her.

Been getting a lot of Prince fans (mainly those outside the UK) hitting me up on twitter about Prince’s new album artwork. I twitpic’d a couple shitty images but I thought I’d make use of my SLR and get some hi-res snaps up. This is just me being completely extra, I know, but it’s not very often we get to celebrate this guy, right? So, I’m just gonna run with it…
