Erm, hello? Who the f*ck knew this was coming? Mark Ronson (who’s monotone voice does my bloody head in) previewed a snippet of his new collaborative track featuring D’Angelo called ‘Glass Mountain House’ on Trevor Nelson’s radio show.

…While you can’t hear much because they talk all through it (understandably) and it’s actually a tiny clip – from what you can hear – it sounds a little…odd. They’ve used some type of electronic/robotic effect on his vocals which sounds pants. BUT I won’t write it off yet because really, we haven’t heard anything. The track comes off Ronson’s new album Record Collection which is out September 27th

Go here to listen to the snippet.

Just hearing a bit of the track during the interview already has be disappointed.
Completely over processed and over the top…so SAD. I can't stand it when guys like this (brilliantly talented) come out and immediately impact the R&B scene with REAL R&B…then eventually they succumb to the middle. Just imagine, great melodies, lyrics and MUSICIANS playing instruments surrounding D'Angelo's time stopping voice and delivery…oh yeah, kinda like his first recordings.

the track is dope…get past your presumptions for what it should sound like and appreciate it for the deep, soul stirring shit that it is…
