Prince will be awarded this years lifetime achievement award at the BET Awards 2010. “Prince is dynamic. Prince is a genius. Prince is music” said Stephan G. Hill, president of programming, music and specials for the network. Prince joins the likes of Diana Ross, Whitney Houston and James Brown in being honoured by the BET Awards and like those celebrations this year will feature a special tribute performance to the Purple One.

I love the creatively that goes into everything Gorillaz related. From their promos, to their videos – it’s all done superbly. This is such a heavy video and a great song. If I’m being honest, I didn’t pay that much attention to their new album – I’ve listened to it and it sounds great but haven’t really invested much time into it – I’ve been meaning to, think now is a great time to start.
