While Jazmine Sullivan continues work on her second album, a new (or previously unreleased) track hits the interwebs. Produced by Stargate, it is unclear whether or not this number will appear on the album or if it is just something they were playing with.
Without a doubt this lady possesses one of the best and most soulful voices around – and while her debut wasn’t all bad – I really hope her new material is much ‘better’. Like this track, I feel her stuff needs to be more ‘gritty’ to match that big voice of hers. I understand the need to have something radio won’t be scared of (smh), but at the same time it’s sad seeing such a great, soulful voice singing songs with very little…soul. Looking forward to more new material though…!
