Not a great look and I pray this is not the direction she’s going in on the new album. I doubt it is as she’s working with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Jermaine Dupri, in addition to Rodney Jerkins. So, hopefully this is just a random leak. It needs to be. Janet needs to come back ‘arrd. “Make Me” was a big tune – that’s the type of material we need.

Hmmm…I mean, it wasn’t terrible, but it can’t be denied, Solange doesn’t have the strongest voice going. But you know, as an artist, I find her quite interesting – her last album wasn’t all that bad – she definitely had some gems in there. Keen to hear the new material. But yes, as for the performance – it was aiiight.

Last night Jay Electronica played his second sold out gig at the Jazz Cafe in LDN Town – check out the footage, courtesy of the homie Semtex, of him performing “Exhibit A”.

It’s been a minute since a Hip Hop artist has created the kind of buzz Jay has created over the past couple days. A real excitement has been brewing since we all first heard he was coming to town. The gig on Wednesday was dope and judging by what folks are saying, the show last night was just as good. We thank you Mr Electronica.

Last night, the PinBoard crew attended Jay Electronica’s first ever UK show at the legendary Jazz Cafe. It must be said, Electronica killed it, he tore LDN down. We quickly forgave him for being over an hour late as soon as he opened his mouth. Bars after bars, the dude kept on. Not only that – but his humour and wit showed a totally different side to him that I personally had never seen before. Whats more, the crowd were phenomenal – biggup everyone who was there last night. Real Hip Hop heads, just vibing. Also, mad love to the homie Benji B for providing the non-stop tunage – he helped us a lot during the long, long wait!

Jay’s playing again tonight at the Jazz Cafe, hopefully those who are heading will enjoy it as much as we did!
