Their The Villa Manifesto EP should be dropping sometime today, but in the mean time – hears a track from it…

Slum Village – “Money Right”

As ever, a solid joint from the legendary group. The guys were in LDN last night at the Jazz Cafe, I had a ticket but wasn’t able to make it, so gave it to a homie. But I heard (from A LOT of people) that the crowd were just not serious. How crazy is that? SMH at the phony Hip Hop fans.

I love Hollyweerd, I think what they do is massively creative. They’re style is unique to anything being put out today, so I’m always happy to support them and listen to what they drop. This (free) EP is no exception. Firstly, need to take a minute to say: how heavy is that art work? And secondly, if this EP is anything like their Electricity Showroom – I’ll be happy.

Tracklist can be found after the jump.

Weezy’s been yapping about this track for a minute, right? Well, here goes…

Lil Wayne Feat Eminem – “Drop The World”

Eminem’s verse almost makes this worth listening to, but just barely. This track is shiteous. Em’ continues to be one of the most impressive emcee’s we have.

Another two bonus tracks from Alicia’s stunning new album The Element of Freedom have surfaced…

Alicia Keys – “Lover Man” / “Almost There”

I understand why “Lover Man” was left off the official tracklist, while not terrible – it’s not great. However, I really like “Almost There” (which I believe was produced by Swizz Beatz). Really love that track, it has a 60′s vibe to it – the backing vocals are dope (random, I know, true nonetheless).

Someone threw a wallet at CuDi during his performance in Vancouver, so to retaliate he jumped down and punched the (wrong) dude. The sound on the video is muted, but you can see him jump down and do the damn thing. But yea, as I said – he punched the wrong guy (according to those in attendance/near by).

Erm, yea, someone needs to check their ego. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not cool to throw anything at anyone (I’ve never really understand that anyways, you’re there to see an artist, no ones forcing you, why you throwing sh*t) – HOWEVER, it’s never cool to react like that. Be it on stage, backstage, on road or anywhere. You’re an adult – act appropriately man.

Who knew this was dropping? I didn’t. Anyways, we’re always happen to lend support to Stat Quo, simply because he puts out dope material (consistently). This is a new mixtape, so you know I’m already on it – and by the sounds of the first few tracks – I’m really good enjoy this.

Tracklist after the jump.

In the immortal worlds of Michael Jackson: This Is It.

The rave you need to be at. The one you can’t afford to miss. Benji B and crew have been putting on some of the hardest nights in LDN Town this past year – their PA’s this year have been crazy. So you (dun) know the last Deviation of 09 is going to be strong. With a mammoth 5 set from the man himself, Benji will be reminding us all why this year has been such a great year for music. Big tunes, great people, nice vibes – just be there.

I don’t need to say much else really, other than get here early. You know how it gets, and if you don’t – consider that a warning.

See you there.

Not really a fan of this track, but Miss Burke looks hawt!

…Further more I think it’s great that a reality show, like X-Factor, has finally produced an all-round artist. I may not be a fan of the style of music that Alexandra has released – but the fact that she can do the big ballads and the up-tempos – is a good look in my opinion. I’m a fan of this lady’s talent, wish her continued success.

Peace, Love & Alexandra Burke
