My moral complication was: This track is so sh*t, do I post it? LOL! Really, I do not get this at all. Robin Thicke is normally dope, I’m a big fan of his. But this? No sir, this ain’t working. Not even Jay saves it (although he still does his thing). This track is utter crap. But I decided to post because, maybe, just maybe, someone out there will like this. If so, this is for you.

And in related news, Chris Brown released the following statement in response to Rihanna’s upcoming 20/20 interview (which will most likely be the next post on PinBoard) saying:

“While I respect Rihanna’s right to discuss the specific events of February 8, I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us,” he said in the statement. “I do appreciate her support and wish her the best. I am extremely sorry for what I did, and I accept accountability for my actions. At this point, I am taking the proper steps to learn about me and grow from my mistakes. I only hope that others in similar situations can learn from our experience as well. Abuse of any kind is always wrong. The rest I leave it to God”

Chris is clearly worried about the interview, and I guess, he kinda should be. I’m not saying that because he deserves to be, I’m saying that because Rihanna is being extremely candid in her interview and has pretty much discussed it all. I really do respect Rihanna for being so honest, I also admire the fact that she realises she’s setting a very big and important example to young girls around the world. Having said that, playing devils advocate, while I will never agree with or sympathise with what Chris Brown did, I do feel that many young men can learn a lot from his actions. I don’t know, I’m just trying to see the little silver lining in this horrible situation.

I mean, I’m a sucker for these types of movies – to me, action is action, but I just reckon they could have cast someone else to do this film. Dunno who, but not sure about Gyllenhaal in this role. He’s a dope actor of course, dunno, maybe it’s just me.

Alicia Keys – “Dreaming”

To me, this sounds like something that could have been on her first two albums. I’ve always been a fan of Keys’ and will remain so, she’s one of the most talented artists we have, but I can’t deny the fact that her past couple albums have left me wanting a lot more. This sounds real nice and hopefully is an indication of where she’s going on The Element of Freedom.

The MTV Europe Music Awards take place tonight in Berlin, hosted by Katy Perry the this years show will see performances from Jay-Z, Beyonce, Leona Lewis, Shakira and more.
