It’s been confirmed that Amy Winehouse will return to to our TV screens by making an appearance on BBC1′s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. The Grammy Award winning singer will not dance, nor will she take centre stage, instead she will sing backup while her 13-year-old god-daughter and protegé Dionne Bromfield performs a song on the programme.
If Wino does appear (and you know that’s a big ‘if’) it will be her first public appearance in months.
…Damn, a brand new artist, only 13, on a prime time BBC1 show? Use that crack head my girl, ya hear?!

The above picture is the cover of Lewis’ new album Echo which will feature collaborations from Justin Timberlake (at least on production), Ryan Tedder, Max Martin, Ne-Yo and Toby Gad to name a few.
And yes, while the cover is hot (she looks incredible), I wonder, will the music reflect it’s edgy feel? So far the lead single “Happy” is dry, at best and the latest leak “Stone Hearts” while considerbly better is hardly ‘edgy’.
We shall wait and see. Cover looks dope thoug.

Usher’s new single is blazing up the TinterNets (thanks to all the bloggers/readers/random folk for sending it over). It’s called “Papers” and is very much based on his divorce (‘member when them two were so very much in love?)…
I’ve got high expectations from Usher’s upcoming album. The leaks that have dropped thus far have been pretty hot. While this is not a banger, it’s a nice track still. I actually really like it. However, I do feel this is just a copy-cat of his Confessions theme. It’s like this dude can’t write a hit song without breaking up with someone. It’s a bit lame in that respect. But as far as the track goes – yea man, I like it. It’s not gonna change my life, but I reckon it’ll do good. The new album originally titled Monster is now called Raymond Vs Raymond – I guess both names reference his ex-wife (ha!).

I love horror movies. I specifically love horror movies from the 80′s/early 90′s – Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Scream and most importantly A Nightmare On Elm Street. Freddie Kruger plagued my childhood as tool for my big sisters to get me to do sh*t haha! The movie used to scare the hell out of me, but in some stupid and sick way, I couldn’t help but watch it time after time.
Well, in 2010 – the remake of this iconic movie will be released and while I was once sceptical, the trailer above has just reinstated my faith. It looks great and very true to the original. Really looks like this movie is gonna be a good remake – and I don’t say that lightly.
…Lets wait and see.
