Janet Jackson gave the performance of her life last week, when she opened the MTV Video Music Awards 2009 with an incredible tribute to her late brother, the great King of Pop, Michael Jackson. MTV recorded the entire lead up to the performance, from concept to execution. Janet Jackson: The Making of the Michael Jackson Tribute Performance gives a behind the scenes look at Janet’s performnce “from the first day of rehearsals in L.A to show day when Janet and her team of choreographers took to the stage, where they recreated one of the most unforgettably music videos ever, “Scream”"
…This is truly incredible. I didn’t know all the dancers were such choreographers! Amazing. The whole thing is just amazing. What a great way to pay tribute to her brother and what a great way for dancers to pay tribute to the man who inspired them so much!
