Chris Brown takes a break from community service to release his first official single since the incident

Chris Brown Feat Lil’ Wayne – “I Can Transform Ya”

I can’t lie, the songs pretty tight. Love that Transformers effect, his melody is dope. I had a sneaky feeling he’d drop something like this, after all – it’s pretty easy, especially as of late, to forget that this dude is a dope performer.

I’ll him this one.

Don’t deny it, you’re a fan of Britney’s too. Here goes her much hyped new single…

Britney Spears – “3″

What’chu think? I’m feelin’ it a lot.

The song comes off Britney’s up-coming release Britney Spears: The Singles Collection which drops Nov 23rd.

ne-yo-brandy

Damn, I got a little excited when I saw this track…!

Brandy Feat NeYo – “Goodnight, Good Morning”

Brandy & NeYo? Yea, that’s a dope team right there. Their voices work well together. This jam is real nice, I like it. Like the beat, like the tempo and generally – the concept. I’m a fan.

…Are You?

Peace, Love & Goodnight, Good Morning

He earlier tweeted that the single was to be released on Wednesday. He then decided to move it forward. I’m actually very curious to see how this one unfolds.

‘Member Olivia? Many of you will from her G-Unit days, but I largely ignored that stint. I know and remember this lady from when she dropped ‘Bizounce’ (ol’ skool, eh?). Anyways, she’s back with a new joint…

Olivia – “Take It Off”

I like it. It’s not a massive song/single – but I like it. The production is nice and her vocals sound cool. Yup. Me likes.

Some of you may or may not know, but Tamia, Kelly Price and Deborah Coxx, three of the most underrated R&B vocalists are joining forces to join a super group called The Queen Project.

…What a dope idea. I mean, while I’m a fan of their voices, I can’t say I’m a big fan of theirs individually. Don’t get me wrong, I like their tunes, but do I buy their albums? Not really. However – this group sounds amazing and it’s a great look. I’m definitely excited!

boyz-ii-men

I say ‘new track’, but I’m not sure if I’m late or not. I haven’t seen this around and I was just sent it by a homie. Boyz II Men, who remain, one of the best R&B group of all time cover Mariah Carey’s ‘Open Arms’…

Boyz II Men – “Open Arms”

As much as I am a fan of these guys, and I am, no one can touch Mariah’s version. In my opinion it’s one of her best songs (and most underrated?) and while Boyz II Men did a great job – their voices are still incredible – it doesn’t touch the orignal.

nas

“This is a record that, right now, I’m scared of making,” Nas said of the album. “I don’t know what’s gonna happen, as far as I don’t know what I’m gonna say. I feel like I’ve put so much of my personal life out there, and I feel like I’m one of the sort of guys you don’t really hear about [though] paparazzi or fan magazines all the time. But I just feel like my life is so much out there [now] that it’s kind of like — man, I don’t even know how to put into words how I feel about putting this record together. I’m a little nervous, to tell you the truth. That’s all I can say.”

Damn. Let’s hope he gets over it. I need that new Nas album. Reminds me, I need to listen to Untitled again, haven’t in a while now.

Peace, Love & Nas
