His long-delayed album Kamaal the Abstract, slated originally for release in 2001, is finally dropping September 15th on Battery Records. The album has been re-mixed and re-mastered for sonic impact with a new track added, “Make It Work.” Preorders on iTunes will include the bonus track “Damn You’re Cool.” This song is also available on the vinyl version.

    I have this album already and I have to say (for me) it is his best album by far!!!!! I don't have tracks 10 and 11 though… will have to get my hands on that! I like that album because of its alternative sound. I recommend it!! Smiles :)

    Yeah had this for quite a few years now. Need to listen to it in its proper form though. Still, hands down, "Even If It Is So" is one of my favourite Q Tip songs
