As some of you may know. Sad but true I’ve been going through a nasty divorce I have no negative words to say about my X life goes on, sometimes love don’t work..True story..The very night after I filed for divorce I recorded a this song. Wasn’t gonna release it at all it was a PERSONAL record I felt Like the song helped me to get some closure from all that was going on..I have NEVER recorded a song like this and sorry but there is NO ALBUM in the works…[source]
I don’t want to come across heartless, because going through something like divorce isn’t easy – obviously. BUT, this song sucks? I mean, lyrically it’s clearly personal (which is commendable) but Tyrese has such a dope R&B voice – why does he (and so many other artists) back it up with some next Euro-pop beat & auto-tune? It makes no sense? Based on this song, I’m glad he’s focusing on his acting career rather than recording another album. Again – sorry if I sound cold – just reviewing the song.
…I still bump his debut album on a regular. It’s fu*king awesome!!!

P.s Sorry for the lack of commentary today – been overly busy!
I’ve only been to one ILuvLive event (which I think is pretty sh*teous of me) and that was the one that Ms Dynamite headlined – it was such a heavi night! Their line up is always impressive and when I went the vibe was overly cool!
Anyways, it’s ILuvLive’s 5th birthday and to celebrate they’ve pulled out all the stops with one killer line up. Performers on the night include: Bashy, Baby J, Kele Le Roc, MJ Cole, Attacca Pesante, MPHO & PA’s from MJ Cole, K.I.G, Shysti, Maxwell D, Bring it Back & Gracious K. Damn. Can’t knock that hustle one bit!
The event, hosted by Ras Kwame & Twin B will be going down @ Sound in Leicester Square. Tickets cost £8 in advance (book HERE) & £12 on the door.
I highly recommend you be there. I will be.
