These people are taking the piss now!

First “Drop Dead Fred” and now they’re remaking another one of my favourite 80′s movies. Like, what the fu*k, really? “Flight of the Navigator”, (my own copy pictured above) is one of my all time favourite child-hood movies. My family love to tell the story of how I used to watch it, rewind it to the beginning, and watch it all over again – all. day. long! I watched it like, 2 days ago! < Really.

…Why, why, WHY – do they need to remake it? Why does Hollywood persist on fu*king with (cult) classics? My goodness, is nothing sacred anymore? Why not just remake “The Goonies”, or hell, just completely kill “E.T”? What’s next? Huh? Huh? What, you gonna remake “Beetlejuice” now?

I did warn you. I. AM. LIVID!

P.p.s Also just read that they’re remaking the original “Buffy the Vampire Movie” – while I’m not too fussed about this, it yet again proves my point: Hollywood is taking the royal piss! I know there a millions of talented movie writers out there, why not invest in NEW films!? I know the economy is bad and all, but making a film, is making a film!

I just wanted to express my deepest condolences to the Tyson family during this very difficult time. As many will know,  a couple days ago Tyson’s youngest daughter Exodus was hospitalised and put on life support after a tragic in-house accident involving a treadmill. Sadly, the little girl died at 11.45 AM yesterday.

I can’t even fathom such a lose. My sincerest sympathies go out to the Mike Tyson & his family.
