…There’s something I really like about La Roux and then, something I really don’t. Can’t put my finger on it though. Her first couple singles were killer. This ones cool too. I don’t love it, but it’s cool. It may have the potential to annoy though? But, yea I’m a sucker for that electro pop sound that’s all the rage right now (we really do need to move on from it now though, I think!?).

Instead, it’s a prelude to what could potentially be the biggest muthaf*ckin’ album you could possible think of. You thought Lucy Pearl was big? Lynwood Rose could potentially see Q-Tip, D’Angelo & Raphael Saadiq coming together for a full length album. *Breath&Stop*. I mean, I don’t know much else. This was sent to me late last night, with just basically what I’ve just said attached – nothing more, nothing less.
Saadiq has said various times that Lynwood Rose was an idea D’Angelo had before Lucy Pearl came to pass. But has maintained that the project was merely a “dream”. But who knows, maybe this is a sign of things to come? Let’s all pray. Together now…
…Either way, it’s Sunday. What better time to play this type of mixtape. Soulful Sunday’s are the one.

I mean, it ain’t terrible, but I don’t think it’s that hot. It’s a bit Euro-pop (esp the auto-tune vocals). But like I said, it’s not the worse thing I’ve ever heard. I’m just confused as to why Sophia Fresh aren’t getting more exposure? Hmmm?

Ciara was on SNL last night where she performed her new single “Love Sex & Magic” with Justin Timberlake, as well as “Never Ever”. Not being much of Ciara fan (that’s an understatement), I haven’t yet check for her album and don’t particulaly like either of these songs. But, what I will say is that her performance of “Love, Sex & Magic” was pretty damn hot…

Is there some cosmic fu*k up going on with young female singers this week/month? Amelle from the Sugababes (the one that replaced Mutya) has been pictured with one side of her head shaved. The 25 year old pop singer, recently broke up with her boyfriend - I wonder: is this just one of those classic post-break up moves?
