Here goes some brand, spanking new Mos Def…
It’s been a long time coming, but the new Mos Def album, Casa Bey The Ecstatic will finally come out on June 9th through Downtown, featuring guest spots from Talib Kweli and Slick Rick and production from Oh No, Chad Hugo, Mad Lib, Mr. Flash and the late J. Dilla, among others. [The] song [is] based on a sample of Banda Black Rio’s “Casa Forte” with Mos doing his mile-a-minute word dance over top.
I’m a bit confused, thought Mos Def’s new album was called The Ecstatic? Might need to clear this up in a minute. Hold tight. Mos Def seems to be returning to top form – I’m excited. This is dope. So, I’m happy. Can’t wait for the new LP – June 4th is the date.
