Last night the crew (and extended crew) were out in full force to celebrate the 1st anniversary of Writers Block and damn, what a celebration it was! WB came hard on this one – the talent was immense. Spoken word, theatrical monologue, short films, acoustic music – all performed and created by some crazy talented folks! But what always gets me excited about WB is it’s vibe. The vibe is consistently on point and last night was no exception. Yet again, Juno Bar was bursting at the schemes – just the way we likes it.
BIG, BIG, BIG, BIG congratulations to the entire Writers Block crew – ya’ll killed it again!
…But our evening didn’t end thurr, nah! We headed to “BOOM BYE BYE” in deep, dark North London (conveniently 5 minutes from my yard) and turned it from any next rave, into the Writers Block ‘unofficial after party’. With the PB and WB crew in full attendance, you KNOW it went down. We did it good. For reals!
If you didn’t make this WB – shambolic – don’t worry, they’ll be back in a couple months with yet another soul stirring show! We’ll, of course, keep you updated on that!
