A couple nights back the PB crew (which now extends to Manchester) caught the incredibly dope CunninLynguists live. Substantial supported the guys, but most definitely held his own. The Luminaire in Kilburn (so random) was pretty packed out and had a decent vibe going on. But yea, I’m not gonna review too much coz honestly, I was so tired, I wasn’t really ‘present’, but was enough so to know that they guys put on an ill show for LDN…

As I said, it was a real cool show. Glad I got to see these guys live. Their new album Strange Journey Volume One is out now and I urge you to cop it. Actually, the band said if you don’t want to buy it – you should at least download it (for free). I say you support dope music, but eh, do what you do init.

Massive shout out to Mr. Cotton – hands down the biggest CunninLyguists fan I know. Man traaavelled to attend this gig. He’s a stan for real but respect nonetheless. Until next time sir! Love to the usual PB cats – as standard.

OMFG! LMAO! LOL! < That’s a lot of TinterNet lingo! So, so bad. Uncharacteristically bad. Cannot believe that shizzle! For real. I mean, this doesn’t for one second make me think Bey can’t sing. She’s hands down one of the best female vocalists we’ve got, but man – this is terrrrible! Just terrible! I was in tears (laughing my ass off).

At 12 years into her career, the last thing someone should be questioning is her vocal ability. That would be like questioning if Kobe Bryant could shoot a jump shot. Standardly, I was struggling to believe this was all legit. I mean, Beyonce don’t sound like that. Ever. Infact, I’ve often said I don’t think I’ve E.V.E.R heard Bey sing off key – not even once. So, this was definitely crazy. So, the fact that they’re now saying it’s fake hardly surprises me. BUT I will maintain – it’s funny as hell! Lol.

VIBE.com have confirmed details of Whitney Houston’s much anticipated comeback single. The song, entitled “I Didn’t Know My Strength”, was written by iconic songwriter Diane Warren and produced by the legendary David Foster. Warren, who wrote the song specifically for Houston told VIBE she “tried getting inside her head” and went on to say “Whitney’s back. Big Time!”.

Whitney’s still-untitled album has a pencilled in 2009 release, but as yet has no solid date confirmed.

This is, of course, great news! I know I’m not alone in saying, I can’t wait to hear new material from Whitney. Undoubtedly one of the best voices we know. But of course, the billion dollar question still remains: does she still got what it takes? Her recent live offerings haven’t suggested so, but I have faith and I do believe she’ll come back full force. Houston has publicly overcome a lot in recent years, so I for one will be supporting this very deserved come back. And yo, having Diane Warren and David Foster on board? That’s not too shabby.
