Now, this is some interesting sh*t. My (all time) favourite horror movie ‘franchise’ is back. “H2 (Halloween 2)” is unlike any of the previous films in that it’s the first to really explore the reasons behind Michael Myers psychotic ‘tendencies’. It’s pretty out there and kinda brave, especially because I know, like me, there are fans of the films that have their own ideas (which is beyond long to divulge right now lol). ANYWAYS, watch the trailer and see what’s happening…

Hmmm…Like I said, it’s interesting. Interesting because the movie picks up exactly where the first ends, even seeing Myer’s sister being rushed to hospital after being brutally attacked. The trailer looks cool, it does, but I’m still to be convinced. It looks a lot darker than other “Halloween” movies and a lot more focused on being a horror movie rather than a box office smash (note: the absent horny teens/annoying actors etc). I like the idea of having Michael’s mother (blonde chick) in there too – seeing her urge him on to kill – that’s nuts. I will probably go check this out because it’s an interesting angle – but as I said, I’m not 100% convinced it’s gonna be that great yet. We’ll see.

Peace, Love & Holloween

P.s You can’t beat the 80′s/early 90′s horror movies: “Nightmere on Elm Street”, “Friday 13th”, “Children of the Corn”, “The Burning”, “Scream” (the trilogy), “I Know What You Did Last Summer” – the list goes on and on. The best time for my favourite movie genre.

P.p.s I think this has just inspired a ‘horror movie’ post haha! Watch for that.
