You already know I’m excited about this!
Stevie Wonder, one of the most creative and genius musicians in modern music will release, for the first time ever, his unique live concert experience on DVD and Blu-ray. “Live At Last” was filmed at the 02 arena in London during Stevie’s “A Wonder Summer’s Night” tour in 2008 (his first tour in over a decade, which sold over 120,000 tickets in the UK alone!). The tracklist represents a lifetime body of work spanning his 5 decade career.
I’m overly happy this DVD is being released. So dope that I was actually [front row and centre] at the show they chose to release on DVD. I’ve said it a bag load of times but Stevie Wonder is one of a kind and is in my opinion, one of the most important musicians in black music. His 2 hour live show was incredible, the man didn’t take a single break! Songs like “Higher Ground”, “Living for the City” and “As” were played to perfection. Stands as one of the best gigs I’ve ever attended (right next to Michael Jackson and Prince).
