Old Money dropped this project a few weeks back, but Speeakz was slept on it (or rather sat on it in my inbox). Apologies for that. Anyways, you all know how much I love Santogold and how I think Old Money are crazy dope – so a project that combines both obviously deserves the spotlight.
Dodgy Elevators see’s Old Money remixing a few Santi White tracks. The remixes are pretty damn grimey. I think they even got some UK flavoured dub-step in there!? I definitely recommend you download this now. It’s cool to have a new edge to tunes I’ve been rinsing for about a year now!

Now, I actually wouldn’t normally post such a video, only because to be frank, I wouldn’t be that interested, but something about this video just didn’t sit right with me.
Hmm…I quite like Michelle’s personality, actually, I think she’s hella funny and I was with her until the whole “Google me baby…there are gonna be some fabulous pictures on there and some not-so-fabulous ones, but at least I’m on there. Lemme google you?” and then the thing about “I’m iced out” showing her watch “with some diamonds on there”.I really, really don’t like that sh*t. It’s all a bit distasteful, especially coming from a lady like Michelle who is pretty damn eloquent?
Anyways, I dunno, she had every right to comment back (I actually like it when artists do) but I think it could have been handled better or more so was ruined by certain things she said.
