P.p.s -2 tonight? Be warm.
P.p.p.s Oh-9 is the one!

I should have posted this earlier when CurT@!n$ sent it over, but Speeakz was too busy celebrating a crew member’s birthday [good good times], but here’s what CurT@!n$ had to say:
End of the year? Why not go out with a bang? “The Dope Supremacy” is the latest offering from CurT@!n$ off The Great Adventures of Dope Boy C: WHSL Rebel Radio. CurT@!n$ says this record sums up his mind frame on the upcoming mixtape. The opening line says it all: “If ya’ll tired of that okey-dokey, and wanna hear fly shit- go see Dopey”
CurT@!n$ – “The Dope Supremacy”
This is the sh*t right here. CurT@!n$ f*cks it up on this joint. Download immediately. Definitely looking forward to getting my mitts on The Great Adventures Of Dope Boy C: WHSL Rebel Radio (13.01.2008).
Peace, Love & CurT@!n$

“The Gray Area”, produced by BK-based beatmaker, Golden Child. Definitely something different, this song was inspired by the movie Juno (and its quirky-ass soundtrack). I tried my best to capture the sarcastic humor that sometimes arises out of the male/female relationship. “Boy, you ain’t shit now and you never been.”
Also in the spirit of doing something different, this mp3 comes with its own “commercial” — I wanted to show everyone the fun that I have during the recording process, as well as shed a little light on the good people that I’m privileged to work with.
J.A.M.E.S Watts – “The Gray Area”
Haha, this is cool! Download, listen and go holla at him out over on his myspace.

I normally refuse to post anything on this child. But, when my homie Sumit sent over an email with that subject title, I thought I’d have to check it out…

Wow. Just think, to them, that’s an intelligent conversation? Throw in a George Bush x Nas comparison and BAM! Kids, stay in school.
This quite nicely links me to this ill doctrine video I just watched:

Ah man, it’s been a long ass minute since we’ve heard anything new from K-Os. I know soooooo many people who are still sleepin’ on this guy. But the truth is, the man is a beast when it comes to this Hip Hop game! These two joints will feature on his up-coming album Yes!…
K-Os – “The Avenue”
K-Os – “Zambony”
Sh*t. That’s why I dig this dude. His tunes are always so fu*kin’ dope! His voice is crazy and his flows are always impressive. Not to mention his lyrical content.
When I tell people who aren’t familiar with K-Os what tracks to check out, they often look at me like a crazy man coz I normally list every track of his albums. But, I always recommend people check out “Man I Used To Be” as an introduction to his ill-ness. I say you download these two tracks, get a taste of what he’s about then grap his albums and check out what he’s been about for a minute now! WAKE UP! Don’t sleep no more man!
I caught K-Os live at the Jazz Cafe in London a good few years back and he killed it. It was a dope evening, his energy on stage really stuck with me. Can’t wait for him to hit these shores again. Canada is a long way away tho, so I’ll allow him if it takes him a minute!
Check his Myspace. Get to know.
Peace, Love & K-Os

Keelay & Zaire drop two fresh leaks coming off their Riding High LP which is scheduled to drop in Febuary courtesy of URB.
Keelay & Zaire Feat Slo-Mo & Tiffany Paige - “How You Make Me Feel”
Keelay & Zaire Feat Khizman & Skyzoo – “That’s Life”
Both tracks deserve a download. I’m not sure how many peeps know about this production duo, but I recommend you definitely check them out (myspace) and definitely check their LP when it drops.

The Notorious soundtrack is gonna be big *no pun intended*. The tracks that have leaked thus far have been serious, including the Biggie demo track that’s floating around the TinterNets (which I haven’t posted coz I’m waiting for the CDQ version). Now, this Jadakiss track surfaces which features Faith Evans…
Jadakiss Feat Faith Evans – “Letter To B.I.G”
Yup. It’s gonna be big. This track is beautiful. I ain’t even gonna lie, when I first heard about this movie last year, I really, really, really thought it was gonna be a joke. But, catching the trailer and a few insightful interviews, plus the tracks that have leaked from the soundtrack, I’m pretty damn excited about seeing it now. I don’t need to go into how much of a legend Biggie is, but it’s definitely good to see that this type of movie is being done right.
The movie is released Febuary 13th 2009 in the UK and the soundtrack drops Febuary 26th 2009.
Peace, Love & B.I.G

Remember when KanYe rapped? Lol. Check some previously unreleased Ye’ material courtesy of fakeshoredrive.com
KanYe West Feat Timy G & Sly – “Payback”
Yea, it’s fresh. Even back then Ye’ knew how to put a stamp on his tracks. It’s easy to take for granted what this dude has done for Hip Hop over the past few years. Random? Yes. True? Yep. Ha.
Peace, Love & Payback

Stat Quo shot me this track this morning, but the crew and I were out checkin’ the credit crunch sales, so only got round to posting now…

The track comes off QuoCity: The Mixtape [which I'm hella excited about] dropping New Years day.

Some new Ne-Yo for your Sunday…
Ne-Yo – “Can I Keep U Company”
This ain’t the greatest song in the world and most certainly not Ne-Yo’s best, but this guy has continued to impress me this year. I mean, who else is making good R&B at the moment? He has continued to produce music that not only appeals to the masses (yea, it’s pop) but also stands firm as one of the most successful song writers around at the moment. R.Kelly did the 90′s, Ne-Yo’s taking care of the 00′s.
Peace, Love & Ne-Yo

The Cool Kids jump in on it Kenna’s [overly dope] “Loose Wires” joint…
Kenna Feat The Cool Kids – “Loose Wires” [Remix]
People are still unaware of Kenna. Truth is, Make Sure They See My Face was a dope album. If you don’t know, google yourself some happy. The Cool Kids do their thing course.
Peace, Love & Kenna
