Wow, look who’s back?

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9_e9Y0kqCk]

I ain’t even gonna lie, if this wasn’t Kele Le Roc, based on this video alone – I would never have posted this. But, I got mad love for Ms Roc. She not only has one serious voice, BUT she gave us one of the biggest Garage tunes ever created – don’t ever forget “My Love”!

*Do peeps outside of London/UK know about “My Love”? If not, check it up the jump*

For those reasons, this tune and terrible video gets some attention. I totally understand unsigned artists have to work with very little financial backing, but I’ve seen tons of independent videos that look 100000% better than this one, so there’s really no excuse – ESPECIALLY on the stying side of things – what the heck?

Anyways, I don’t think this is the tune she should have ‘comeback’ with but I’m hoping she does make a real go of it because as I said, she’s got a mad voice and deserves the success she never really had.

Peace, Love & Kele Le Roc

    PS – on Kele’s new stuff – i like the song and singing and am looking forward to hearing some other mixes of this (in a more soul / groove stylee) my personal taste has never been keen on that trance-rave sound. Im hearing that sound in some of the new R&B recently. Im into R&B but not that ravey-2-note synth sound going around at the mo.
    On Nov 9th – expect a much different take on those new songs from Kele – IE@ think the Roots live band rather than that synth candyraver&B sound :) – im lookin fwd to it.

    yes Kele rocks "My Love" is a big tune, and it was big for me even before the Garage remix which I also liked.

    Catch Kele all live @ Jazz Cafe on Sun Nov 9th on the largest lineup of UKSoul you will see in 2008, 20 acts all live on the night @ UKSoulJam 1st BDay party.

    The UK's got a lot of talent, but you won't see alot of these acts on a lot of the media networks, mags etc. as they continually tap into the same subgenres (IE: indie, dance, Pop-RnB & the funky….)

    More info on the Nov 9th event is@: http://www.myspace.com.keepthefaithclubnight
    Email: keepthefaithful@gmail.com

    There will be filming on the night for a docu on the event and current UK Nu Soul movement.

    Kele also has some new material coming out with House / Brokenbeat producers Blakai,hear some of that on the night.

    See you there folks :)
