Last night Travis Barker & DJ AM were critically injured when their plane crashed killing four others.
It’s been reported that the plane (a Lear jet) attempted take off from Columbia, S.C when the air traffic controller reported seeing sparks coming from the plane. The plane then went off the runway and crashed onto a high way embankment, catching fire.
Both Travis Barker & DJ AM (real name Adam Michael Goldstein) were taken to Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, Ga. Both men are said to be in critical but stable condition. According to reports both men saved their own lives by jumping from the burning plane once the aircraft came to a stand still. Unfortunately four others including the pilot, co-pilot and Barker’s assistant, Chris Baker dies in the flames.
Barker, former drummer for Blink 182 and DJ AM best known for his mash-up mixes both formed the group TRV$DJ-AM recently, and have been performing around the U.S. They recently released the mixtape “Fix Your Face”…
That’s some seriously scary sh*t! Madness. Our thoughts go out to those who lost their lives and hope Travis & AM both have a speedy recovery.
