I actually don’t even know what to say or where to start.
…I would love to hear YOUR thoughts on this.
Peace, Love & Tyra Banks
P.s Much respect to Tyra for doing this show!

These women need to learn to love themselves if you dont love you no one will ever beable to love you. its sad but in todays world light skin is percieved as beautiful. I'm asian and even in our culture the lighter you are the most prettier you are seen but you cant live by those rules other wise you will never be happy with what you have.
I pray for these ladies and all the others doing the same
hello every one am keeping it real here tyra banks has gotten lighter as a matter of fact real light since she first started modeling and stop all the crap alot of women are looking at tyra complexion and thinking they should look as light as she look over these years ,, but lets talk truth has tyra bleach her skin we all in question about that.. queen exoticgirlsentertainment@yahoo.com..
Serious it's just beyond comprehending, but props and love to Tyra for making this an issue. As Lala has said, it's such a problem in the asian community too, all the high end brands have skin lightening products and it's actually quite frightening. Having said that i can only assume it is your environment, being in London you sit on a carriage of the tube and you'll find at least 10 different nationalities, shades and everything. Hopefully this program has helped at least a couple of people, and no blame to the woman who lightens her children skin, kids only learn from their parents, it's a vicious cycle.
First off, I am shocked! I live in Asia and in my country, we have all type of races and all type of colors. I have never, in my entire life, heard of skin bleaching.
I am personally fair, being born a Chinese so I will never understand what those ladies are going through despite we too, have guys that think the lighter and fairer the girl is, the prettier she is. But now in this society, I don't think color or as they said, shades matter. Most people are of different shades and colors YET they still manage to get married. These ladies need to learn to be proud of themselves and their color. They can never please the society that is so full of garbage.
This issue really woke me up, and I'm going to go around town and check the drugstores whether they have these products around.
Another terrible result of racial conditioning in the world…and it's from within our own communities. We need to awaken, stop living in the self-loathing slave mentality. Stop killing ourselves and children, stop brainwashing our children that they are ugly. Stop brainwashing our children to trust and buy into the media at the expense of our own communal wealth (a lot these cremes are made from South African dutch/jewish owned labs). We drown in the same old regurgitated hatred, passed onto us from slave owners. They no longer need to oppress us, we're doing better than they ever could.
what's up peps I'm blow away buy this because everyday there's is alway's new look that is marketed and people living bible then relise that my God thats lives haven mades all his people perfect in his eye and start trusting in him and beliving in him and also examing there selfs and trusting that they are pretty inside and out we would not be concernd about what other people have to say about are selfsteem
hi tyra
im a afro im living in africa.I speak more french than english. I was shocked by the reactions of the assistance. That women have a reasons to what they do is their choice. I just want to askone question is it ur true hair?ask urself and we will debate.
beauty is not in the color of your skin, it is in the better and healthier skin.
Everyone always has so much to say but never realizes or ask the real truth. If I wanna bleach my skin or enhance my beauty and tell the world it does not mean I dont love myself or Im crying for help. We all like to enhance our beauty it is why we as women go to beauty supplies and salons for all u weave and perm wearing people in the world including me. Check ur own closets b4 u start judging others cause what ur hiding is what ur insecure about at least I have the nerve to say it in public and be proud.
I HATE BLACK PEOPLE!!! And thats SAD To say BECAUSE IM BLCK!! Why They wanna BE LIGHTER??? SO FUCKING STUPID!!!!
IGNORNANT BLACL PEEOPLE!!!!
She picked up the Palmer's brand! If they have that Plamer's box they have the "Palmer's Skin Success".
I see a lot of people on this show judging these people that are bleaching there skin(and their Children's ) …. especially when the have big beams in their eyes.. guess that's why the can't see that the only difference between bleaching and a lot of things that are deemed normal in society is that bleaching may be dangerous. For example
sodium hydroxide is used by thousands of women all over the world and almost every black woman on that show to make their hair straight , and curly … hydrogen peroxide is used to give black people blond hair…
Women by fake nails , colored contacts( no not the prescription one)
women spend thousands of dollars on fake hair just so that the would be closer to the ideal ''hair type'' and that no one will call them nappy head ….that's the behavior of hypocrites…. yes HYPOCRITES…… So before you judge someone because they try to change there physical appearance …take a good look in the mirror…… if you see straight blond, hair, and blue eyes chances are you are not much better than these girls…… and yes parents put chemicals children hair too.

"Here in this here place, we flesh; flesh that weeps, laughs; flesh that dances on bare feet in grass. Love it. Love it hard. Yonder they do not love your flesh. They despise it. They don't love your eyes; they'd just as soon pick em out. No more do they love the skin on your back. Yonder they flay it. And O my people they do not love your hands. Those they only use, tie, bind, chop off and leave empty. Love your hands! Love them. Raise them up and kiss them. Touch others with them, pat them together, stroke them on your face 'cause they don't love that either. You got to love it, you!" And with her arms outstretched in an endless hug, Baby Suggs calls out, "Let the children come. And let your mothers hear you laugh."
