MTV VMA Awards 2008 [NEWS]0

After the Grammy’s, the MTV Music Video Awards are my favourite Awards show! They usually have the best show, best special guests, best gags and of course the very best performances. Despite my personal dislike of one Russel Brand, I’m pretty sure watching him shock/confuse the Americans will be extremely funny (lol) and while most of the news leaked a couple days ago, this is what we know:
- Britney SpearsWILL open the show (can’t freakin waaaaait!)
- Christina Aguilera will perform her new tune “Keeps Getting Better”, which comes off her best-of album
- T.Iwill perform “Live Your Life” with Rihanna
- KanYe Westwill not only close the show with a spectacular show stopping performance, but will also announce details of his up coming album (slated for a December) release!
Other rumours suggest Michael Jackson & Janet Jacksonwill present an award together, while this would be THE coolest thing (after Britney performing of course lol), I can’t see it happening…But then this IS the VMA’s – anythings possible!
Can’t wait to see the show which takes place September 7th 2008.
