Update: BUSTA IS IN THE UK!! Haha! My spies tell me the big man was finally allowed out of the airport and into LDN. So, all you Orange RockCorp goers are in for a real treat: John Legend, Ludacris AND Busta? Damn. Why didn’t I put my 4 hours in!!!!

So a member of the PinBoard family arrived at the Universal HQ to attend the Busta Rhymes album playback and Q&A earlier today only to hear that he won’t be making it because his flight had been ‘delayed’.

Well, that was then…NOW it’s being reported that Busta has actually been denied access into the United Kingdom and has been detained at immigration at City Airport.

Busta was due to play a free concert for 5,000 charity volunteers at the Royal Albert Hall tomorrow. Lawyers for the rapper have launched an 11th hour bid to persuade a judge to let him perform at tomorrow’s Orange RockCorps gig – however organisers have already added fellow US Hip Hop star Ludacris to the bill.

“The 36-year-old, who pleaded guilty two months earlier on the day he was due to go to trial, was also ordered to do 10 days of community service, pay a $1,250 fine (£675) plus court costs and enroll in an anti-drink-driving programme”.

That’s so, so messed up! Firstly (and selfishly) we were well excited about hearing Busta’s new album and asking him a few questions, but secondly (and more importantly) it’s such a shame that he may not be able to perform at the Orange RockCorps gig. I personally know so many people who volunteered their time to help out and get those tickets who will be very disapointed at this news – but hey, Ludacris is hardly a let down – he’s gonna be LIVE!

Let’s hope Busta is allowed through, gets to perform at the Royal Albert Hall AND we get to hear his album at some point soon!

Peace, Love & Bussa Buss!
