Da Brat was found guilty of smashing a waitress in the face with a bottle of rum at Jermaine Dupri’s Club 72 in at Atlanta and was sentenced to 3 years in prison.
About six members of Harris’s family wept when a sheriff’s deputy took her into custody.
“I love y’all,” Harris, 34, said as she was led out of the courtroom.
“We love you, too,” the relatives replied in unison.
Harris entered a guilty plea to aggravated assault.
The victim, a waitress at the club, had to be hospitalized after being struck by Harris, and Flake said the woman suffered permanent facial scarring.
Harris and the victim had gotten into an altercation prior to the assault, police said at the time.
Oh boi. That’s not good but hey, you do the crime, you do the time!

Aiight, I know this is a bit random and even know I’m not the biggest Pink fan, I do have love for her. I think she’s a cool chick and I’m still crazy about her first album (which will be getting the ‘spotlight’ treatment soon!). Anyways, i was sent “So What” a while back but never really liked it, but the video is pretty cool and I like the fact she’s singing about her ex husband who’s also in the video! Who say’s divorce has to be ugly?

Blige and Leona Lewis strung together to record “Just Stand Up” a charity song in aid of the “Stand Up To Cancer” campaign. While the concept and cause are both great, unfortunately the song isn’t. I’m sure many will love it, but personally I hate these types of cheesy lyrical songs. A song like this should be inspiration and say something meaningful, not just be fluffy, with lyrics like “you can make it” or “just stand up” < who needs that crap? LOL! Nevertheless, I’m hoping people like/support the single because at the end of the day, regardless of personal taste it’s raising money for an amazing cause.
