If you’ve been sleepin on Buff1, its time to wake up! Now!
We’ve posted a few bits and pieces from this dude in the past (all of which have impressed!) and tomorrow marks the release of his sophomore album “There’s Only One”.
I’ve been fortunate enough to have had the album for a few weeks now (mucho love Stephanie!) and booi have I rinsed it!! It’s been in heavy rotation on my iTunes since I got it! Like, it’s “repeat album” material < these days, that’s pretty rare no?
From the [now] instantly recognisable “Beat The Speakers Up”, to tracks like “Love the Love”, “Numbers Can’t Measure” Feat Now On (my new fav Hip Hop group!) and the mad crazy, “Electric Circus” inspired “Electrifying Music Maker” – this album goes from strength to strength. Buff1 uses his words wisely, his beats smartly and rarely fills a song with fluff. He’s refreshing, talented and hungry. He’s produced a well rounded, quality album that will have any Hip Hop lover stupidly excited.
I’m honestly impressed with “There’s Only One” and truly believe you will be too.
The album drops tomorrow [12.08.2008] via A-Side Worldwide / Fat Beats and I implore you to go and purchase it [Legally!]. If you don’t, you’ve flopped. Badly. Bootleggers stay away!
